Fostering Legal & Safe Alcohol Use in Beervana
The Shared Future Coalition launched in 2012 under a grant from the Oregon Health Authority to reduce underage and binge drinking among 18 to 25 year olds. To date, the project has focused on building a diverse community coalition to address high risk drinking and raising awareness of the harms of high risk drinking through a multi-media campaign. With the three-year project evaluation hot off the press, Julie Spackman (community project coordinator for Deschutes County Health Services) will share about the Coalition’s success and vision for the safety, health and prosperity of Deschutes County.
